These surveys are necessary for goods such as tea, coffee, horticultural produce etc. Documents ascertaining how the goods were shipped i.e. condition of container, quantity of the goods are almost required at the ports of discharge.

SPECIALISED GOODS INSPECTION
Certain goods such as vegetable oils, molasses are shipped, stored or transported in bulk. Polucon offers the services of quantifications of such commodities. This service includes sealing of storage and transport facilities and analysis.

Polucon offers this service to prevent Cargo theft from shipment containers in transit from ships to receivers installations where we verify the quality and quantity.

SUPERINTENDENCE OF STUFFING AND STRIPPING OF CONTAINERS
This service is available especially to insurance companies who at all times want to be informed of  what was stripped from containers especially into receivers warehouses.

This service is offered to clients who import grains in bulk and those who import commodities in break bulk condition in particular the relief organizations and relief agencies who import goods for humanitarian aid through the port of Mombasa or other ports in the region.

CARGO SALVAGE INSPECTION
Cargo discharge can result in damages due to poor handling or adverse weather conditions. Polucon carries out surveys to establish the cause of damages the quantities said to be damaged and determine what best can be done (salvage).
